The Model State Pharmacy Act and Model Rules of the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (Model Act) provides the boards of pharmacy
with model language that may be used when developing state laws or board
rules. Expert legal commentary accompanies each section. Updated and supplemented as necessary, the current edition contains the NABP Model Rules for Pharmacy Interns, Institutional Pharmacy, Pharmacist Care, Public Health Emergencies, Nuclear/Radiologic Pharmacy, Sterile Pharmaceuticals, Licensure of Wholesale Distributors, and Privacy of Individually Identifiable Health Information. Revised and published annually, the Survey of Pharmacy
Law provides summary data about topical issues in pharmacy, including
prescribing and dispensing authority, pharmacy technicians, the facsimile
and electronic transmission of prescriptions, and patient counseling requirements.
The Survey is produced as a CD-ROM and consists of four sections: organizational law, licensing law, drug law, and census data.
