Application fee: $1,500
Background check fee: $175 per background check
Survey fee: $3,000
Annual participation fee (year 1): $1,000
Year 1 subtotal: $5,850 (includes two background checks)*

Estimated total for three-year accreditation: $7,850
The fee schedule shown above will be repeated every three years. Please note that the background check fee is not required if it has previously been submitted and the person has remained a continuous employee of the applicant.
Payment for year 1, which includes the application fee, background check fee, survey fee and participation fee is due when the VAWD application is submitted. Payment of the annual participation fee for years 2 and 3 must be made before accreditation is renewed.
Credit card payment may be made online during the application process. Payments in the form of certified check, cashier's check, money order, or company check may also be sent via mail; NABP must receive such payments within 14 days of application submission.
*Accreditation fees may vary due to differences in the number of background checks an applicant may be required to submit.
VAWD-accredited facilities whose current three-year accreditation cycle ends on or after June 30, 2012, will be assessed a $1,500 reapplication fee.
Any VAWD-accredited facility or current applicant that notifies NABP after June 30, 2012, of the relocation of their facility must submit a new application that provides updated facility information and pay the applicable fees.
