William T. Winsley Elected Executive Committee Member during NABP's 97th Annual Meeting

William T. Winsley, executive director of the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy, was elected to a one-year position as a member of the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy's (NABP) Executive Committee during the Association's 97th Annual Meeting, May 5-9, 2001, in Seattle, Wash.

Mr Winsley, who has been active in many NABP activities, has served as a member of several task forces and committees including the Task Force on Workload Systems, the Committee on Law Enforcement/Legislation, and the Nominating Committee. He was the chairman of NABP's Task Force on Licensing of Pharmacy Benefits Managers and the Task Force on Model Guidelines for Formulary Development.

Mr Winsley is a member of the American Society of Hospital Pharmacists and has served as an officer in the Ohio Society of Hospital Pharmacists as well as the Akron Area Society of Hospital Pharmacists.

Mr Winsley received both a BS in pharmacy and an MS in hospital pharmacy administration from Ohio State University. In 1999, he received the Distinguished Alumni Award from the Ohio State University College of Pharmacy.
