Washington News: New Federal Drug Enforcement Rules - Multiple Prescriptions

DEA amended regulations to allow practitioners to provide individual patients with multiple prescriptions for the same Schedule II CS written on the same date, to be filled sequentially. The change, effective December 19, 2007, will allow patients to receive, over time, up to a 90-day supply.
