Training Video Provides Tips on Preventing Pharmacy Robbery
RxPATROL (Pattern Analysis Tracking Robberies and Other Losses) has released a training video discussing pharmacy robbery and how to prevent it. The video features a pharmacist and law enforcement liaison as they tour a pharmacy, evaluating security measures and discussing additional steps that can be taken to prevent robbery. RxPATROL is an initiative designed to collect, collate, analyze, and disseminate pharmacy theft intelligence to law enforcement throughout the nation. RxPATROL is designed to gather and disseminate critical information to help protect pharmacists, guard against potential robberies, and assist law enforcement in their efforts to successfully apprehend and prosecute those involved in controlled substance pharmacy crime.
