Title: Teen Medication Abuse
Action: Passed
Whereas, abuse of medications by teens is a dangerous and rapidly increasing problem; and
Whereas, pharmacists can provide guidance and education to parents and caregivers on how to secure medications to prevent this abuse;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that NABP use its newsletter programs to inform constituents of the critical nature of the issue surrounding abuse of medications by teens and the important role of the state boards of pharmacy and practicing pharmacists.
