The Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) will introduce an updated Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE) on November 1, 2013.

The American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) and the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) have announced the creation of the Pharmacy Technician Accreditation Commission.
