Title: Support for Legislation Recognizing Pharmacists as Health Care Providers

Whereas, pharmacists are an integral component of health care delivery; and

Whereas, pharmacists provide valuable services to patients; and

Whereas, pharmacists are not currently recognized as providers of health care services and are thus limited in their ability to serve the public health;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that NABP members express their support for legislation that recognizes pharmacists as health care providers and communicate their support to their elected representatives.
