Rx Response Continues Efforts to Maintain Medication Access for Those Affected by Hurricane Sandy
To assist those affected by Hurricane Sandy, Rx Response continues to update its pharmacy status map to indicate open pharmacies. Rx Response is also working with federal and local government agencies to help ensure that fuel is provided for delivery trucks transporting medications to health care facilities, and also that fuel is delivered to pharmacies operating on generator power. In addition, the Rx Response Hurricane Sandy Situation Report continues to provide updates on states affected, locations of American Red Cross and other shelter locations, and other pertinent information.
