Title: Reporting of NAPLEX Scores to Schools and Colleges of Pharmacy
Action: Passed

Whereas, the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) requires schools and colleges of pharmacy to establish and implement an evaluation plan that measures desired outcomes of the professional program in pharmacy leading to the doctor of pharmacy degree for the continuous development and improvement of the quality of pharmacy education; and

Whereas, the North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination (NAPLEX) scores may assist schools and colleges of pharmacy in assessing the extent to which outcomes measures have been achieved; and

Whereas, NABP has recently begun to provide NAPLEX summary score reports directly to the schools and colleges of pharmacy to ensure that schools and colleges of pharmacy receive the information for the purposes of continuous development and improvement;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that NABP continue to work with ACPE and the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) to develop a process, where permissible under applicable law, to release individual identified NAPLEX score reports on a trimester basis to the schools and colleges of pharmacy.
