Oregon News: New Rules for 2010

In June, rules were adopted in Division 080 to remove marijuana from Schedule I and place in Schedule II, and to remove methamphetamine from Schedule II and place it in Schedule I on Oregon’s list of controlled substances. An exemption was provided for methamphetamine products approved by Food and Drug Administration for legitimate medical use. In addition, some technical amendments were adopted in Division 080 to update rules in accordance with recent changes in federal regulations.
