NABP to Exhibit CPE Monitor Program at APhA Annual Meeting
Show Attendees Have a Chance to Win an Apple iPad
The National Association of Boards of Pharmacy® (NABP®) is pleased to showcase the recently launched CPE Monitor program during the American Pharmacists Association (APhA) Annual Meeting and Exposition, to be held March 25-28, 2011, in Seattle, WA.
Developed collaboratively by NABP and the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), CPE Monitor will allow pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to easily track their ACPE-accredited continuing pharmacy education (CPE) credits. In addition, the program will provide a streamlined reporting and compliance verification process for participating state boards of pharmacy.
NABP representatives will be available at booth 1114 to share information on the new CPE Monitor program. They will also be on hand to answer questions pertaining to the NABP e-Profile ID, the unique identifier pharmacists and pharmacy technicians will be required to provide beginning in the latter part of 2011 to receive credit for any accredited CPE activities from ACPE-accredited providers.
Additionally, to celebrate the launch of CPE Monitor and to encourage pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to set up their e-Profile IDs, NABP will hold a drawing in which attendees who stop by the booth will have the opportunity to win an Apple iPad® valued at $499, or one of six $50 American Express gift cards. No purchase is necessary to enter or win.
