NABP's 98th Annual Meeting Offers Educational and Networking Opportunities
The National Association of Boards of Pharmacy's (NABP) 98th Annual Meeting May 18-22, 2002, at the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort in Phoenix, Ariz, provides board of pharmacy members, executive officers, staff, and their guests stimulating opportunities to network and learn about the latest technological and practice issues during the meeting's Educational Presentation Area, the Hospitality Suite, and the NABP/US Pharmacopeia (USP) Breakfast. These special programs and events serve to complement the meeting's educational programming.
Educational Presentation Area Showcases Latest in Pharmacy Technology
NABP's Presentation Area is an educational forum for board of pharmacy members and staff to see the newest technological products and devices shaping pharmacy practice today. Manufacturer and distributor representatives are available to discuss their products from 1 - 5 PM on Saturday, May 18, and 8 AM - noon on Sunday, May 19. Products that will be displayed include dispensing equipment, computer software packages, online services, programs that focus on patient compliance and management, wholesale distributor innovations, and central fill technologies.
Hospitality Suite Offers a Chance to Relax and Regroup while touring the booths in the Annual Meeting Presentation Area, registrants and their guests can take a break and relax in the Hospitality Suite. Members of the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy will host the event and will provide recommendations on their favorite Phoenix sites and attractions. The Hospitality Suite will be open from 1 - 5 PM on Saturday, May 18. Refreshments will be provided.
NABP/USP Breakfast Presents Issues of Mutual Interest Board of pharmacy members and staff are invited to attend the NABP/USP Breakfast at 7 AM on Monday, May 20. A popular feature of the NABP Annual Meeting for almost 10 years, the breakfast serves as a forum for topics of interest to both organizations.
