NABP 100th Annual Meeting Optional Programs Allow Members to ‘Meet the Candidates'

There are many valuable sessions at the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy® (NABP®) 100th Annual Meeting and Centennial Celebration, but only one will allow members to hear statements from candidates seeking election to the NABP Executive Committee. The Meet the Candidates Session will be held from 8 to 9 AM on Tuesday, April 27, 2004.

During this session, candidates will present brief remarks and explain why they are the best candidate for the Executive Committee position they seek. Following the candidates' statements, NABP members will have the opportunity to ask the candidates questions.

As in past years, NABP is also offering the Public Board Member Session and the New Member Seminar, which will both be held on Saturday, April 24. The Public Board Member Session, from 1 to 2:30 PM, will discuss current issues demanding their consideration and support available through NABP. The New Member Seminar, from 2:45 to 4:45 PM, will offer an overview look at the Association's programs and services to those board members who have recently been appointed to a board of pharmacy or for those attending their first NABP Annual Meeting. This session will also discuss the Association's continuing education programs, special events, and parliamentary procedures.
