Missouri News: Mandatory Technician Reporting

Pursuant to 338.013, pharmacies and hospitals are required to report any final disciplinary action taken against a pharmacy technician or the voluntary resignation of a pharmacy technician against whom any complaints or reports have been made that might have led to final disciplinary action that can be a cause of action for discipline by the Board as provided for in subsection 2 of section 338.055. The following information must be provided to the Board within 15 days of the action: the name and permit number of pharmacy; name of person making the notification; name of technician; technician registration number; date of action; and reason for action. The report may be mailed, faxed, or e-mailed to the Board office.
