It’s Live! NABP Application for DMEPOS Accreditation Online Now
The National Association of Boards of Pharmacy® (NABP®) is moving forward with its accreditation program for pharmacies providing durable medical equipment, prosthetics, orthotics, and supplies (DMEPOS). NABP’s program is fully operational, and the accreditation application is online now at www.nabp.net.
NABP offers accreditation for licensed pharmacies that distribute certain DMEPOS products and services to Medicare patients and that seek reimbursement from Medicare Part B. Approved by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, NABP’s DMEPOS accreditation program services state-licensed pharmacies that provide a limited line of durable medical equipment. The primary goal of the program is to assist with the protection of the public health by helping to ensure that Medicare beneficiaries receive the appropriate products, services, and patient care associated with DMEPOS.
More information on NABP’s DMEPOS accreditation program is available from the NABP Customer Service Department at 847/391-4406 or via e-mail at dmepos@nabp.net.
