Georgia MPJE Reinstated Effective December 8

The National Association of Boards of Pharmacy® (NABP®) is pleased to announce that as of December 8, 2007, the Georgia Multistate Pharmacy Jurisprudence Examination® (MPJE®) has been reinstated in all Prometric testing centers.

“NABP thanks the Georgia State Board of Pharmacy for its support during the examination reinstatement process,” states NABP President Oren M. Peacock, Jr, RPh.

The examination will be offered at Prometric testing centers during regular business hours, Monday through Saturday. Candidates who have been deemed eligible for the MPJE by the Georgia Board may schedule appointments to sit for the examination. Those candidates who have existing appointments, either selected prior to the suspension of the Georgia MPJE or rescheduled during the suspension, are responsible for rescheduling their appointments if they wish to test at an earlier date.

Recently, NABP announced that effective January 2, 2008, Pearson VUE will be the test vendor of the MPJE as well as the North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination (NAPLEX®). Pearson VUE will begin scheduling appointments to sit for the NAPLEX and MPJE on that date. The last day Prometric will administer the NAPLEX and MPJE is December 31, 2007.
