FPGEC and FPGEE Fees to Increase Starting in July

Topics: Fpgee and Fpgec

Effective July 1, 2013, the application fees for the Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Examination Committee (FPGEC) certification, which includes taking the Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Examination (FPGEE), will increase. The changes start with applications post-marked on or after July 1.

First-time FPGEC candidates will be required to submit a fee totaling $1,200, which includes $450 for the evaluation of all documentation and a $750 for the FPGEE.

Those who are retaking the FPGEE after failure are required to submit a fee of $750. Candidates who are reapplying for FGPEC certification after withdrawal or after their files have been closed will be required to pay $1,200 to restart the FGPEC certification process.

This is the first time the FPGEC evaluation fees have been adjusted since 1987. Additionally, the FPGEE fee has not been adjusted since 2009.
