Former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani Delivered Address at NABP's 100th Annual Meeting

The National Association of Boards of Pharmacy® (NABP®) is excited to announce that former New York City Mayor Rudolf Giuliani spoke at the Association's 100th Annual Meeting and Centennial Celebration, held April 24-27, 2004, at The Fairmont Chicago in Chicago, IL. Giuliani shared his experiences as mayor of New York City and his recent involvement in the illegal importation issue on Monday, April 26, from 12:30 to 1 PM, during the Third Business Session of the Association's Annual Meeting. During the Business Session, Giuliani said that the staff of Giuliani Partners was approximately half way through a preliminary report on the safety of foreign drug importation. Prior to the Business Session, Giuliani participated in a news conference with NABP Executive Director/Secretary Carmen A. Catizone. Here Giuliani again made mention of the study, which is funded by The Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA).
