Title: Expanding Ethics Education and Resources for the Boards of Pharmacy
Action: DEFEATED
Whereas, legislators, courts, and consumer interest groups are demanding and may be mandating that boards of pharmacy have regulations that address ethical conduct by pharmacists; and
Whereas, instruction or courses in ethics may be underrepresented in the curriculums of colleges and schools of pharmacy; and
Whereas, boards of pharmacy rely on resources such as programs and courses in ethics to structure educational and remedial programs for licensees;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that NABP, in cooperation with other pharmacy associations, provide the boards of pharmacy with resources and tools for educating practitioners in ethics.
