Eight Resolutions Approved at NABP's 97th Annual Meeting in Seattle
Delegates from the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy's (NABP) member boards of pharmacy adopted eight resolutions at NABP's 97th Annual Meeting in Seattle, Wash, held May 5-9, 2001. The resolutions addressed such issues as mutual recognition of American and Canadian accredited educational programs, the creation of a task force to study the electronic transmission of prescriptions and prescription information, development of the uniform definition of "live" continuing education, and opposition to tablet splitting and drug product formulation changes. The resolutions have been forwarded to NABP's Executive Committee for review.
