Donna M. Horn, RPh, Elected NABP Treasurer during Association's 98th Annual Meeting
Donna M. Horn, RPh, secretary of the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Pharmacy, was elected treasurer of the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP) during the Association's 98th Annual Meeting, May 18-22, 2002, in Phoenix, Ariz. Prior to her election, Ms Horn served as a member of the NABP Executive Committee for six years.
Ms Horn has been a member of the Massachusetts Board since 1993. Her involvement with NABP during that time has been extensive. She has been the Executive Committee liaison to numerous task forces including the Task Force on Patient Compliance and Intervention Program Guidelines, the Advisory Committee on Examinations, the Task Force on Standardization of Technicians' Role and Competencies, and the Task Force on Model Guidelines for Formulary Development. She was also on the Budget and Finance Committee and the Constitution and Bylaws Committee.
Her other professional affiliations include the American Pharmacists Association, the Massachusetts Pharmacists Recovery System, the Boston Druggist Association, the American Society for Pharmacy Law, and Massachusetts State Pharmacist Association.
Ms Horn is a pharmacy specialist with Brooks Pharmacy. She is a graduate of the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.
