Delegates from the member boards of pharmacy adopted six resolutions during the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy® (NABP®) 99th Annual Meeting, held May 3-7, 2003, in Philadelphia, PA. The resolutions addressed such timely issues as the changing role of pharmacists, continuing professional development, federal regulation of nutritional supplements containing ephedrine derivatives, limited access to prescription medication programs, and reimportation of medications. The resolutions have been forwarded to NABP's Executive Committee for review.
The complete text of the resolutions will be published in the forthcoming special Annual Meeting issue of the NABP Newsletter, and will be available on NABP's Web site, www.nabp.net, on May 20, 2003.
