Topics: Continuing education

NABP extends its thanks to the 1,198 attendees who came by its booth at the Cardinal Health Retail Business Conference (RBC), August 7-10, 2013, in Seattle, WA. NABP shared information with visitors about the CPE Monitor® service, a collaborative effort between NABP, the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and ACPE providers. CPE Monitor allows pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to electronically track all ACPE-accredited continuing pharmacy education credits. Visitors also received information about the AWARxE® Consumer Protection Program developed to help educate patients and consumers about prescription drug abuse prevention and online pharmacy safety. NABP would also like to congratulate the winners of the “Scan to Win” drawing. Attendees who stopped at the NABP booth and scanned their meeting badge were entered in the drawing. Daniel Smith received an Apple iPad®, valued at $499 and six individuals (Sharona Amin, Katherine Hicks, Eric Murrell, Kevin Baumgartner, Chandrasekhar Gajulapalli, and Stacey Taing) won a $50 American Express gift card.
