New Testing Vendor for NAPLEX, MPJE Effective January 2008

Effective January 2, 2008, the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy® (NABP®) is utilizing Pearson VUE as the vendor for administration of the North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination (NAPLEX®) and the Multistate Pharmacy Jurisprudence Examination® (MPJE®). Individuals who want to test in 2008 may schedule appointments via the Pearson VUE Web site at www.pearsonvue.com/nabp or the customer service line at 1-888/709-2679.

Candidates who were eligible to take the NAPLEX or MPJE before December 31, 2007, but did not take the test with Prometric, had their records sent to Pearson VUE by NABP. Pearson VUE will then send out a Pearson VUE Authorization to Test (ATT); the Prometric ATT is not valid for scheduling with Pearson VUE.

Candidates that register online with NABP beginning January 1, 2008, and are deemed eligible by their respective boards of pharmacy will receive an ATT from Pearson VUE that will provide all the scheduling information the candidate requires. Once the candidate has scheduled a testing date, Pearson VUE will send a confirmation letter, which will include verification of the examination date and time as well as the address of the testing center.
