Through our accreditation, license verification, and testing programs, we aim to ensure the public's health and safety. The National Association of Boards of Pharmacy is an impartial professional organization that supports the state boards of pharmacy in creating uniform regulations to protect public health.
Are You AWARxE?
The mission of the member boards of the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy is to protect public health. NABP's members are the boards of pharmacy for all 50 states, District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands, along with 9 associate members located in Canada and New Zealand.
Are You AWARxE?
NABP serves its member boards by administering the NAPLEX to all pharmacy graduates. This examination provides assurance that pharmacists applying to the board for licensure have the knowledge and skills necessary to safely practice entry-level pharmacy.
Are You AWARxE?
NABP accredits online pharmacies through its VIPPS and Vet-VIPPS programs. Online pharmacies bearing the VIPPS or Vet-VIPPS Seal show consumers that the site is licensed in good standing by the boards of pharmacy and provides confidence that they will receive safe, effective medications.
